This summer has flown by! I start school this week and I can't believe it! I am actually super excited to be back. I know....I'm totally a nerd, but I actually enjoy school. This is my last year of college and I'm excited to start it off on the right foot. There are so many changes happening in my life right now but I am so ready for a fresh start this Fall.
I've had such a great summer. This is the first summer since I started college that I have actually consistently worked out. I've loved meal prepping every week and I'm going to continue throughout the school year. I actually want to start going on long runs once fall starts. It's my favorite season. I loathe running but I think it would be a fun goal to set. :)
Last week was such a great week! I hung out with a lot of my friends and family. I watched the famous Mayweather vs. McGregor fight on Saturday and loved it. I wanted McGregor to win, but oh well. He still fought an amazing fight. I stayed up pretty late and ate some delicious food, It was so worth it.
I've recently been loving cardio on the treadmill. I like sprinting so I've been incorporating that into my weekly workouts. My workouts of the week are shown below.
On Friday, I went to a pizza restaurant with my friend Hannah. Their pizza was so good!
I decided to try these bars this week because someone recommended them to me. I actually really like them! They don't have a lot of ingredients which is always awesome. The Peanut Butter one is my favorite.
Okay, so remember how I said that bread was breaking my face out and giving me a stomach ache? Well, I decided to try this Gluten free bread and it's great. It tastes like sourdough bread. I'm definitely going to be buying it again. :)
These popsicles are my favorite! Not a lot of ingredients and are a perfect level of sweet.
It's really weird, but I don't like almonds unless they have some sort of seasoning on them. I got these because they were healthier than Goldfish. Haha. I took this bag to work because they keep me full. I also have been taking them to school for my long classes.
The fruit bowls that I made for my lunches had honeydew melon, strawberries and kiwi.
For my meal prep, I made rice bowls with peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, and chicken. I boiled the chicken instead of cooking it in the oven.
Lastly, I decided to take a pic of my snack drawer at work. As you can clearly see, I am a very hungry gal. I usually keep a lot of bars and rice cakes nearby. Also, for my sweet tooth, I usually have dark chocolate.
I hope you enjoyed this post! Sorry it was up late! I had some issues uploading the pics.
Have a blessed day!
